Trogarzo Added to Uninsured Formulary

LA HAP has added TROGARZO (ibalizumab-uiyk) an injection therapy, to the uninsured formulary effective 7/1/18. Insured clients can access Trogarzo provided it is covered by their primary insurer.

Hepatitis C/Medicaid Coverage Policy

Recently, Medicaid announced the removal of fibrosis staging documentation as a requirement for HIV/HCV co-infected individuals to access HCV treatment. LA HAP previously announced that we would allow for a transitional period in order to accommodate any initial issues encountered with the Medicaid prior authorization process. As such, LA HAP is not making any changes to our current HCV medication coverage policy until further notice.
